Welcome to Rekindly.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Rekindly mobile application or website (“Service”),
you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.
1. About Rekindly
Rekindly is a mobile application that allows users to scan visiting/business cards, extract contact information,
organize contacts into groups, export data, and optionally sync contacts to their device.
2. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for verifying and correcting scanned information
before saving or sharing it. By using Rekindly, you agree that:
- You will only scan and store business cards that you have lawful permission to use.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you scan, edit, save, or export.
- You will not use the app for any illegal, abusive, or harmful purpose.
3. Data Storage & Usage
- Rekindly stores scanned card data locally on your device. If you sync, it will be stored securedly on cloud storage as well.
- No one else has access to your data unless you explicitly share it or use Rekindly as a collaborative tool.
- Optional features may allow exporting data (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
- Rekindly does not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
- You are solely responsible for any data you export or share externally.
4. OCR & Accuracy Disclaimer
Rekindly uses optical character recognition (OCR) and AI-based technologies to extract information from images.
- OCR results may not always be 100% accurate.
- Rekindly is not responsible for errors, omissions, or incorrect data extraction.
- Users are encouraged to review and edit scanned information before saving or sharing.
5. Contacts Sync
If you choose to sync scanned information to your device’s contacts:
- You grant Rekindly permission to access your contacts.
- Rekindly only adds contacts when explicitly requested by you.
- Duplicate detection may not be perfect; please review contacts after syncing.
6. Intellectual Property
- The Rekindly app, logo, branding, design, and source code are the intellectual property of Rekindly.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without permission.
7. Permissions
The app may request access to camera, storage, and contacts strictly to
provide its core functionality.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Rekindly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- This includes data loss, business loss, or incorrect contact information usage.
- Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if these Terms are violated or if required by law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
- Any changes will be posted on this page.
- Continued use of Rekindly after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
The courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any
disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of the Rekindly application or services.
